We are looking for an Electronics Designer to join our team in Espoo. As an electronics designer, you will work closely with electronics testers software and mechanical design teams, particularly with interface devices and mechanical actuators.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity located in Espoo. You need to be willing and capable to work on-site in our Lab in Espoo according to our needs - this is due to the nature of the work.
Your profile
You hold a University of Applied Sciences or Master of Science in Engineering degree in electronics or equivalent relevant field. Additionally, you have:
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with the electronics required around microcontrollers
- Familiarity with measurements performed using a multimeter / oscilloscope
- General measurement circuits (embedded electronics)
- Basic knowledge of analog electronics, including operational amplifiers
- Soldering skills, including SMD (Surface-Mount Device) and through-hole components
- Experience with some schematic design software.
We also value
- Experience with microcontroller interfaces such as JTAG, I2C, SPI, QSPI
- Experience with current computer interface buses as part of electronics such as USB, Ethernet, HDMI
- Understanding of PCI eXtensions for Instrumentation (PXI)
- Proficiency with PADS and EPLAN software
- Design experience that includes selecting measurement devices
- Experience in electrical (electrics) / automation design as well as layout design.
You bring with you fluent English language skills as you need to be able to create specifications and user manuals. Finnish skills are not mandatory but an advantage. You have a problem solving mindset, and you are customer oriented - working face to face with a customer comes natural to you.
