We are now looking for a Pulp IT SAP Architect for a permanent position in UPM Pulp IT Business Services. The position is located in Tampere or Helsinki, Finland.

What you will do

  • You manage the design and development in application areas and ensure the quality, user experience and cost efficiency of development items. Focus on SAP S&OP planning, sales and distribution management and integrations to surrounding systems

  • You support UPM Pulp Business to thrive in developing and digitalization in your responsibility areas

  • You consult and support business with the requirements and test scenario definition

  • You create and verify application(s) functional and technical documentation in together with IT development partners

  • You guide and manage external BUILD development including BUILD handover to production RUN support

  • You contribute to various business demands and project initiatives in Pulp Business area

  • You support for IT Service documentation maintenance including up-to-date CMDB information

  • You maintain application lifecycle roadmap from technology and application platform point of view

  • You are responsible for the security and compliance aspects related to the application components

Who you are

  • You have a relevant educational background, e.g. Master's degree in Information Technology. You have wide scope knowledge of business processes, solutions and integration in SAP Logistics solutions. Manufacturing or process industry background is considered beneficial

  • You have detailed technical experiences with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori technologies

  • You are familiar with Cloud services, and you want to closely follow latest technology trends and understand future possibilities in them to promote and design new and cost-efficient solutions to better support business needs

  • You have confirmed functional and/or technical experience in SAP IBP, SD and LE modules and good understanding of different integration possibilities within complicated SAP environment

  • Knowledge of SAP TM, EWM modules and SAP BTP is considered valuable

  • You have strong sense of personal ownership and accountability in your work

  • You are oriented towards self-development and hesitant to step outside your comfort zone

  • You have right customer service attitude and you have established experience on being able to deliver solutions

  • You can understand and model complex design scenarios and capability to transfer business requirements to value bringing solutions

  • You are familiar with IT Service Management (ITIL) processes and capable to act accordingly

  • You have university degree or equivalent and minimum 5 years of relevant experience

  • Fluent written and spoken English is required, other languages are useful
