About the role
We are seeking a Manager New Services and Business Development Nordic to develop our digital solutions, new energy related services and driving business development initiatives in order to create superior customer value for Fortum's Medium- and Large Enterprise customers.
In this role, you will be part of a Nordic business development organization, driving business development across all three Nordic countries as part of a collaborative and dynamic environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Digital solutions: Developing and executing on roadmap for digital solutions together with internal stakeholders, with focus on improving customer experience/success.
- New Energy related services: New service ideation, validation, development and scaling within domains such as for ex. flexibility, DER, data-as-a-service, energy advisory and sustainability.
- Market intelligence: Continuous monitoring of competitors, regulation, markets and trends within B2B energy solutions and provide actionable insights within mentioned areas.
- Project management: Lead and participate in business development projects targeting superior customer value for Fortum Medium- and Large Enterprise customers.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate across business units, functions and countries to identify and exploit best practices, growth opportunities and synergies.

About you
We're looking for someone who is proactive, capable of working independently, and eager to actively seek out learning and development opportunities. You thrive on solving problems and feel comfortable to work with business development on a strategic as well as an operational, hands-on level.
Experience & Education
- 3-5 years' work experience in relevant field(s) such as consulting, project management and/or product development in addition to relevant academic education
- Minimum bachelor's degree within relevant field such as engineering, computer science or business. Masters degree in relevant field is considered as merit.
- Experience from energy markets or B2B business development are considered as merit(s).
Knowledge & skill
- Key insight/understanding in new offering and service development (e.g lean startup and agile business exploration)
- Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
- Strong business acumen and customer-orientation with commercial mindset
- Good written and oral presentation skills
