HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
We are seeking a PhD student to do part of the PhD work with us in Bell Labs Finland (Espoo) via a 5 month intern period with us in Bell Labs Core Research. The candidate would carry out research in some of these areas: mobile communication technologies, like 5G-Advanced and 6G systems, AI/ML, algorithms, WiFi, quantum technologies, software development or simulation methods. You will be working as part of the research team.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Plus to have basic understanding on wireless cellular systems and radio access methods
- Very good to have software skills, e.g., C++ or Matlab as well as experience on simulation methods and tools
- Good written and verbal communication skills, can express him/herself fluently in English.
