Are you experienced in quality management within engineering, machinery or automation? We're looking for a proactive Cimcorper to join our team as a Quality Control Manager to strengthen our team at headquarters in Ulvila, Finland. This key role focuses on maintaining high-quality standards across all operational stages, including our supplier relationships.
As a Quality Control Manager, you will
- Improve the quality of operations: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement quality control and inspection plans and resolve non-conformities.
- Manage supplier quality: Build strong supplier relationships and work with sourcing to ensure supplier quality, overseeing evaluations, monitoring and audits.
- Drive improvement: Champion the use of quality methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis, LEAN and Six Sigma to foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. Develop quality reporting.
- Ensure compliance: Support the development of certified management systems and the requirements from the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, ensuring all processes meet established standards.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's or master's degree in technology/engineering.
- 5+ years in quality management within engineering, machinery or automation in an international setting. Background in supplier management, production quality or engineering is an asset.
- Familiarity with quality tools and methods such as APQP, PPAP, LEAN, Six Sigma and ISO 9001. Auditing experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in English and Finnish, excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to deliver effective training.
- Initiative-taking, detail-oriented and a hands-on approach to process development.
- Willingness to travel globally (infrequently).
- Ability to regularly work from our headquarters in alignment with our hybrid work guidelines.
