We are now looking for a Salesforce Architect to join our IT team in Helsinki or Tampere, Finland.

As a Salesforce IT Architect, you will have the chance to contribute to the development of new Salesforce.com services in various UPM business areas. This role allows you to make a significant impact by introducing innovative ideas to various new initiatives and future projects. You will work closely with several professionals, fostering collaboration and sharing knowledge to achieve our goals together. What you will do
We value good knowledge in Salesforce. Your role in our IT team will be specified based on your experience and skills, but the common details are as follows:
- Responsibility for the application design of UPM Biorefining, Fibres, Pulp, Plywood and Technology business areas' Salesforce platform (including Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing and Commercial Cloud + GEN AI)
- Develop and design new services supporting business specific solution stack, support service transition, optimize operations and subsequent service improvements as part of the service lifecycle
- Understand and apply the reference architecture and application component model aligning it with UPM IT long-term solution strategy and roadmap
- Oversee and manage external development including handover to production (outsourced support service)
- Close collaboration with the business, acting as the main stakeholder towards business areas regarding development and giving content for our development partners
- Collaborate with Salesforce Platform Owner, business IT Service Owners, IT colleagues and architects in UPM IT and network with external experts
- Understand business processes and connect business requirements with the functional capabilities of the application
- Contribute to on-going business demands and project initiatives as well as enhance development specifications with technical details. Capability to challenge proposed solutions and requirements
- Support service documentation maintenance and provide consultation in critical support work, problem management and continuous improvement initiatives
Who you are
- You have an university degree or equivalent and relevant work experience in IT
- Previous experience and knowledge of Salesforce is required and experience working with Business ERP's is valued
- You have experience in designing digital customer experiences on Experience Cloud and you are familiar with IT Service Management (ITIL) processes and can act accordingly
- You invest in improving yourself, are willing to explore outside your routine, and take accountability for your actions
- You have a customer service attitude and the ability to deliver solutions
- You can understand and model complex design scenarios with the capability to transfer business requirements to value bringing solutions
- You have a business centric mindset, and you have supplier management experience
- You are pro-active and accountable
- You have professional co-operation and communication skills in English, other languages are an asset
