To support our ongoing growth agenda we are now seeking to recruit a Senior Hardware Engineer to be based at either of our sites in Lappeenranta or Tampere, Finland.
Job Responsibilities
As Senior Hardware Engineer, you will be expected to carry out:
- Design of power electronics and control circuits
- Conduct peer reviews on electronic hardware designs to maintain quality and reliability
- Generate design verification specifications and testing requirements.
- Generate engineering reports and documentation.
Background & Skills
We would expect you to demonstrate:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Demonstrable experience working with product design and development and/or engineering research.
- Ability to work effectively in a high quality, deadline committed environment.
- Being an effective team player, yet not afraid of working independently or taking responsibility.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English.
Advantageous, but not essential would be:
- Proficiency in PADS or OrCAD and Teamcenter PLM.
- Understanding of functional safety (especially ISO 26262) and experience of developing products for automotive industry
- Understanding of cyber security (especially ISO 21434).
- Experience in EMC development and testing
