We are now looking for a Summer Trainee, Supply Chain Planning to our team at Pietarsaari Pulp mill. We have a similar position open also at Kymi Pulp mill in Kouvola.

Our summer trainees will have an opportunity to learn and grow professionally during the summer in our international business environment. Your days will be filled with versatile tasks and you will have your own responsibilities. We are looking forward to welcoming you to grow with us!

What you will do

As a summer trainee in the Supply Chain Planning -team you are in a key role to ensure timely pulp deliveries to customers all over the world. Your tasks will include delivery and production planning as well as stock management of Pietarsaari pulp mill. Aiming at meeting customer needs in the most profitable manner, you will be working closely with numerous people in the customer service, sales and logistics teams as well as in the production team and among logistics service providers.

Your main tasks include:

  • Delivery planning and coordination (from mill to various ports and direct customer deliveries)
  • Stock management
  • Status reporting in Weekly Planning meeting

Who you are

  • You are a student in a relevant field (e.g. Bachelor in Logistics or Supply Chain Management)
  • Ideally you have experience in transport planning and stock management - understanding of the pulp production is beneficial
  • You have good problem solving skills as well as influencing and interpersonal skills to coordinate and communicate effectively
  • You are fluent in Finnish and English
