Wärtsilä Finland, Marine Power Supply, Delivery Centre Sustainable Technology Hub, Operational Purchasing, Supply Chain Planning is looking for a Supply Chain Planner. Previous experience in purchasing, production and logistics in the manufacturing industry is appreciated.

 

Position information:

The position is permanent and located in Vaasa, Finland with hybrid work possibilities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supply chain analyses & data maintenance to ensure efficient purchasing process
  • Maintain material master data related to purchasing to ensure optimal material flow & cost 
  • Demand-driven planning related to purchasing
  • Vendor stock counting
  • Support system & tool related issues 
  • Problem solving & continuous improvement
  • Other tasks related to Operational Purchasing

 

Requirements:

  • M.Sc or B.Sc (in engineering, economics, IT, business administration or similar)
  • Good communication, teamwork, and social skills
  • Systematic and active approach to working
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Strong IT skills (e.g., SAP knowledge)
  • Experience in process development is seen as an advantage
  • Fluent in spoken and written Finnish or Swedish and English
