Your role will involve ensuring the quality of our custom silicon by integrating and testing SoC software and hardware implementations. You will work closely with a diverse team of over 100 professionals from 13 different nationalities who are dedicated to achieving technology leadership in 5G and coming 6G networks. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
We are looking for tech-minded students to put theoretical knowledge into practice in our System on Chip (SoC) research and development projects in our Tampere and Oulu R&D sites. You are curious to learn more and eager to contribute to various tasks as part of your job, and you see challenges as opportunities. Your English language skills allow you to communicate in our multicultural environment.
You will be part of our SoC validation team, where more than 100 professionals are working on the testing and validation of the Nokia ReefShark family of System-on-Chips (SoC): ReefShark | Nokia Networks.
We are responsible for the quality of our custom silicon, a key element in our strategy to the technology leadership in 5G and coming 6G networks. We work with state-of-the-art tools and have access to the latest technologies. Our team is diverse, with 13 different nationalities represented. The working language is English.
As a System-on-Chip Validation Trainee/Thesis Worker you are a member of the SoC validation department. You will participate in our project tasks ensuring our SoCs quality by integrating and testing the SoC software and hardware implementations. You communicate well in a multi-cultural team in English.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
We appreciate if you have knowledge or experience in some of these areas:
- SoC (ASIC/FPGA) design flow and process
- Digital techniques and design
- Embedded software development (C/C++)
- Test development and/or automation (Python)
- DevOps, CI, automation flow development (Jenkins)
- 3GPP standards
Please note that to ba able to work as a trainee at Nokia, you must have active student status and be located in Finland.
