If you drive for Supply Chain topics and you have experience from Procurement, Category, Sourcing Supply chain topics and you are ready to take ownership, you might be the best fit.  
 The location for this position is in Helsinki, but also Tampere, Oulu are possible.

Responsibility:

  • Main tasks of nominated global category or categories within Indirect Procurement
    • Category management including cost savings category strategy creation and implementation
    • Sourcing, selecting and approving new suppliers in co-operation with internal customers and stakeholders in category team
    • Supplier relationship management
    • Contract lifecycle management
    • Planning and executing of global sourcing activities, negotiations and contracting
    • Following, forecasting and analyzing of supply market trends and relevant indexes
    • Risk management of category supply chain
    • Supplier performance evaluation and supplier development
    • Internal stakeholder management
    • Target setting for category to support procurement/group targets
  • Other responsibilities:
    • Creating improvements in category in cooperation with category team, e.g. cost savings, service level, sustainability, specification improvements etc.
    • Reporting of category savings
    • Supplier KPI management in category
    • Global material flow optimization
    • Claim handling

Required skills and competences:

  •  Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
  •  Ability to identify and leverage business opportunities and drive projects successfully to achieve cost savings.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and evaluating large datasets.
  •  Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  •  Agility to work in a changing environment.
  •  Resilience and capability to manage pressure effectively.
  • Fluency in Finnish
  • Good knowledge of English (oral and written)

Required education and experience (minimum educational level, named experience 1-5 years / over 5 years / over 10 years)

  • A suitable degree (for example commercial or technical)
  • Procurement experience over 5 years, preferable in Indirect category area.
