We are looking forSustainability and Sustainable Finance professionals to join our fast-growing Sustainable Finance and Corporate Sustainability Services team!

The Sustainable Finance and Corporate Sustainability Services team is part of KPMG's Management Consulting practice in Helsinki and is now looking to strengthen our presence in Tampere and Turku. With us you will be working with KPMG's local specialists as well as specialists in the Nordics, the EMA region and around the world.Over the past ten years, we have steadily grown our service offering supporting clients across sectors in Finland and abroad.

As a professional in corporate sustainability solutions at KPMG's office in Tampere and Turku respectively (two positions) you will

• Actively offer our clients insights, tools and practices for developing and implementing their sustainability ambition and agenda. Areas of near-term client demand relate to supporting corporates to drive their sustainability related business opportunities and developing ESG agendas, climate advisory, the implementation of CSRD reporting including data management and technology solutions, and assurance of ESG reporting.
• Drive sales, proposal preparation and delivery of client engagements, and take key roles in project teams.

We also continue strengthening our team in Helsinki with sustainability professionals who have experience in strategic and operational sustainability including ESG reporting.

• In this position you will have an active role in offering, coordinating and delivering client engagements, solutions management, and take key roles in project teams.

You're a strong candidate for these positions if you have

• Strong subject matter expertise and multiple years previous work experience in the service area mentioned; in a consulting/advisory or corporate environment; or in the banking, investment or insurance sector. As concerns the open positions in Tampere and Turku, you will be the first dedicated ESG professional, whereas previous experience in consulting and client management is highly appreciated.
• Experience of working with clients to discuss and present engagements and provide recommendations (e.g. areas of materiality assessments, CSRD reporting, assurance of ESG reporting, ESG data management, ESG business opportunities and risks).
• University degree in business, finance, technology, engineering, legal or environmental sciences or a related subject area with a focus on business and sustainability, sustainable finance, ESG risk and opportunity management or technology and data modelling.
• Excellent written and oral communication, and presentation skills in Finnish and English. Skills in Swedish is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

These are permanent full-time positions, and the preferred starting time is in the beginning of 2025, however negotiable. The positions are based in our offices in Tampere, Turku and Helsinki respectively.
