Account Executive, Investor

Upright is seeking an energetic and results-driven Account Executive to join our expanding team and play a key role in advancing our investor business as we execute our global expansion strategy. Trusted by 250+ institutional investment organizations and corporations, Upright's impact data is rapidly gaining importance across Europe and North America due to regulatory shifts and rising demand for transparency in measuring real-world investment impacts.

In this role, you'll be a driving force in growing our customer base and expanding Upright's presence in the investor segment, taking ownership of the entire sales journey-from the first contact to closing the deal. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be on the front lines, introducing Upright's offering to institutional investors globally. Your focus will be on actively pursuing deals with key financial institutions, refining our value proposition, and ensuring our offering resonates with investors globally.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about sustainable finance and eager to make a mark in the financial industry. We're looking for someone who thrives on teamwork, enjoys sharing ideas, and is eager to celebrate wins together as a team. At the same time, we need someone who isn't afraid to take ownership of the sales process and is confident in closing deals.

SIGNS OF BEING A GREAT MATCH FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

    • Demonstrated success in meeting sales quotas within SaaS, enterprise sales, or other relevant industries.
    • Experience or a willingness to work with complex B2B products in a startup environment.
    • Knowledge or eagerness to learn about asset management and how sustainability data can influence the finance landscape.
    • Solid track record of internal passion for excellence: you have gotten things done clearly better than what was required/expected from you, as you enjoy doing things well
    • Sense of urgency and drive to get the job done
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a talent for building high-trust relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers.
    • Goal-oriented, with a sense of urgency and a determined, results-driven approach.
    • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.

    • ADDITIONALLY WE'LL CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING AS A PLUS:

    • Previous experience in sustainable finance, including knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., SFDR) and ESG investing.
    • Experience with B2B SaaS or data products, especially within financial or institutional sectors.

WHAT WE OFFER:

    • Opportunity to influence your earnings with a performance-based compensation model, along with stock options, and a comprehensive healthcare package.
    • A chance to join a quickly growing and highly ambitious impact SaaS company with a mission that matters
    • A fast-paced and dynamic work environment where decisions are made quickly, and progress happens rapidly
    • An opportunity to shape the future of sustainable finance by driving the adoption of a leading impact data solution, making a direct impact on Upright's growth and success, and applying your skills and experience in meaningful, innovative ways.
    • A fun and kind team with exceptional people who care about what they do
    • Exciting professional growth opportunities

    • Location:  Negotiable, e.g. Helsinki, London, Zurich

Deadline: Candidates will be reviewed on a continuous basis and the role will be filled as soon as the right person is found.
