About the role
The company and team are international, but their finance unit is mainly located in Helsinki, Finland. You will work closely with colleagues from the Finance team and other parts of the business and get support when you need it. Your work mainly consists of regular bookkeeping tasks as well as supporting in financial reporting, preparing documentation for audits, co-working with external auditors and assisting in maintaining internal controls.
This position is available on a hybrid basis. We expect you to live in Helsinki or Uusimaa-area to be able to easily visit the office. The position is full-time and permanent.

Key responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping (Maintain accurate financial records by entering transactions into the accounting system, reconcile bank- and general ledger accounts)
- Financial reporting (Support the preparation of financial reports and help with tax returns and other regulatory fillings)
- Data Entry and Management (Maintain detailed records of financial transactions, assist in the maintenance of fixed asset registers and enter financial data into accounting systems)
- Assisting with Audits (Prepare documentation for audits, assist external auditors and help implement audit recommendations)
- Compliance and Controls (Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and accounting standards as well as assist in maintaining internal controls)
We are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in accounting or finance (internship experience is acceptable).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal (Finnish is seen as a plus).
- You are based in Helsinki or Uusimaa-area, Finland.
