Are you skilled in system and hardware/electronics development including functional safety aspects and want to be in the frontline developing next generation automation systems?
We are looking for hardware/electronics development professional to participate independently and together with the team in all phases of Functional safety product development lifecycle. You will be joining the Automation Platform R&D unit in Valmet's Automation Systems, Tampere, Finland to develop future automation system with 100+ colleagues.

Requirements
To succeed in this exciting role, you have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field. In addition, you bring several years of experience in embedded system and electronics development. You are familiar with system architecture design, specification work, electronics design, review and verification tasks. Knowledge of FPGA design is an advantage. You have practical knowledge of agile methods and automated testing. Earlier work experience of mission critical systems, like distributed process automation systems or PLC products is also valued.
In this role, we highly value strong teamwork and collaboration skills. You will need to be fluent in both written and spoken English and Finnish to effectively communicate with our diverse team.
