Do you have experience in system and hardware/electronics development and want to be at the forefront of developing next-generation automation systems?
We are looking for hardware/electronics development professional to participate independently and together with the team in all phases of Functional safety product development lifecycle. You will be joining the Automation Platform R&D unit in Valmet's Automation Systems, Tampere, Finland to develop future automation system with 100+ colleagues.

Requirements
To succeed in this exciting role, you have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field. In addition, you bring several years of experience in embedded system and electronics development. You are familiar with system architecture design, specification work, electronics design, review and verification tasks. You have practical knowledge of agile methods and automated testing. Earlier work experience of Functional Safety systems, distributed process automation systems or PLC products is also valued.
You may be an experienced electronics designer with a strong background in embedded system and electronics development, and a desire to expand your expertise into the field of functional safety. We value your willingness to learn and grow in this area as part of our team.
In this role, we highly value strong teamwork and collaboration skills. You will need to be fluent in both written and spoken English and Finnish to effectively communicate with our diverse team.
