What We Offer
We are offering a permanent position as a Chief Operational Officer, located in either Kuopio or the capital region of Finland.
Your salary will be based on experience and qualifications within a range that will be communicated in the first interview. Our hybrid working place policy supports your work-life balance. About the Job
As Chief Operational Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Operational Efficiency: Preparing, executing, and monitoring long-term operational plans based on our strategy.
- Ensuring resourcing and productivity in all our projects.
- Developing and implementing KPIs, operational reporting, and documentation for continuous improvement.
- Enhancing internal structures and systems to support performance and growth.
- Overseeing budget, financial performance, and operational costs.
- Leading and developing our team, with managerial responsibilities starting post-onboarding.
- Maintaining excellent customer relations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing project resource planning.
- Participating in sales activities though this will not be your main responsibility.
What We Hope from You
- BSc/MSc or equivalent, ideally in Engineering, Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility within highly regulated industries, such as pharma, medical devices, or hospitals.
- Experience with cleanrooms, validation, or quality development is an advantage.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive career growth.
- Passion for developing organizations, business, and people.
- Industry knowledge and understanding of business models, industry trends, KPIs, and best practices.
- Ability to think and operate strategically with strong influencing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain and expand customer partnerships.
- Integrity: Do what you say and say what you do.
- Fluency in Finnish and English.
How Does the Recruitment Process Go?
