We are looking for anAccount Lead, Nuclear 

In this both demanding and interesting role you will be leading VTT's commercial operations towards named nuclear customers and customer groups mainly in Europe, but also globally. We are looking for a skilled and experienced sales professional, capable and motivated enough to transform research findings into business opportunities. Helping our customers succeed and enter new markets is our priority.

AsCustomer Account Lead,you will: 

  • Be responsible for nominated nuclear customers in Europe

  • Plan sales activities for the named customers and customer groups in the nuclear field 

  • Both seek new business opportunities among named customers and acquire new customers 

  • Visit selected trade shows, conferences and other relevant events globally 

  • Analyze opportunities for VTT to better support customers business success, by matching customers' challenges and opportunities with VTT excellence 

  • Build and motivate virtual sales teams among the researcher community in collectively gaining a clear understanding of VTT's business environment 

  • Contribute to VTT nuclear research offering creation and service models together with other stakeholders 

  • Operate closely with other sales team members 

What we are looking for: 

  • Knowledge about nuclear market and customers, including different roles of the players in the nuclear sector 

  • Experienced in managing strategic customer relationships, selling complex consultative projects and creating new businesses  

  • A higher education degree, preferably within in engineering and/or scientific research field 

  • Experience in value-based sales and business development 

  • Excellent negotiation, contract management and influencing skills 

  • Willingness to develop adequate understanding of VTT-wide technological excellence that match customer needs to create impact 

  • Willingness for international travel 

  • Security clearance required during recruitment process
