Customer Success Manager

Upright's mission is to make it financially more attractive to run a net positive company than a net negative one. From the very beginning, we have been committed to focusing on the big picture, while ensuring our data is backed by science, comparable and credible. Today, our Net Impact Platform is the world's largest open-access impact database with over 10,000+ company profiles publicly available. As impact data becomes increasingly central in business decision-making, Upright's data is trusted by 200+ institutional investment organizations and corporations, predominantly in Europe and North America. And this is just the beginning of our journey.

We're now looking for a Customer Success Manager to join our team. In this position, you will oversee your own data subscription customer accounts. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the data meets our customers' expectations and requirements, delivering outputs on time, and assisting customers in maximizing the value gained from their data subscriptions. From the customer's point of view, you will serve as the primary point of contact for Upright's expertise. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our analysts who produce the results with the Upright data engine, receiving their support as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Serving as the primary contact for your assigned data subscription customers
    • Proactively managing accounts to reduce churn and maximize upsell opportunities
    • Coordinating internal and external processes and resources to ensure timely data delivery
    • Supporting customers with inquiries and requests related to their data subscription
    • Engaging in discussions with customers about feedback and product development ideas
    • Demonstrating expertise in Upright's data and methodology

SIGNS OF BEING A GREAT MATCH FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

    • Previous experience in customer-facing roles such as customer success manager, project manager, or similar, ideally in a technology company or consulting firmĀ
    • Comfort with diving into the details of Upright's data and methodology
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • An excellent can-do attitude
    • A structured and organized way of working
    • Exceptional communication skills in Finnish & English

ADDITIONALLY, WE'LL CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING AS A PLUS:

    • Understanding of and experience of the existing ESG landscape for corporations and in particular, EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)

MISSION THAT MATTERS
Upright is on a mission to incentivize companies to optimize their net impact by enabling science-based decision-making for investors, customers, employees, and public sector agents. To do that, Upright develops a proprietary data model based on an open-access database of 200M+ scientific articles and artificial intelligence to quantify the net impact of companies on people, planet, society, and knowledge creation. In addition to net impact, Upright produces data on UN SDG alignment, EU taxonomy, and EU SFDR PAI indicators. Currently, our impact data platform is used by 200+ institutional investors and companies, such as Nasdaq, Nordea, EQT and Nokia.
