Data Architect, HR Solutions

As YIT's Data Architect, you will be responsible for data modeling according to YIT architecture and will be closely involved in utilizing of employee data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our data models meet our business goals and the needs of our customers

Main responsibilities

• Domain data architecture connected to common data and reporting platforms (EDW, MDM, BI-Platforms, and all the other external data sources)
• Guiding technical resources (e.g. data engineers, Integration developers) in needed business logic and finding right data sources
• Conceptual and logical modelling of data aligned with the YIT level information architecture  together with Chief Information Architect
• Defining domain roadmap together with Solution Architect 
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify the needs that falls into areas of Data & Analytics, MDM and Integration and prioritize the backlog together with business.
• Translate business requirements into data requirements and work with the corresponding development team to ensure data availability, quality and smooth development of the product.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies related to Data Management, , AI, Analytics, Master Data Management and Integrations.

What we expect from you? 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, information management, engineering)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data management or related field.
• Strong understanding of data management principles and technologies.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, data modeling, SQL, MDM and Integration tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding HR processes, employee data and possibilities to utilize it with business data.
• Experience with SAFe Agile development methodologies is an advantage.
• Hands-on attitude.
• Language skills: Fluent written and spoken English, also preferably Finnish
