Job description:

Digital Customer Offering & Experience (DCO) is a business function within Fortum Consumer Solutions, where business and technology come together. At DCO, we create great digital experiences for our consumer and enterprise customers, innovate, and find new ways to expand our digital customer offering and digitalize our own processes. We collaborate closely with our internal stakeholders and external partners. We are strong in delivering the actual technology, data and internal tools behind the offering and processes. Through cross-functional collaboration, sustainability focus, as well as agile and lean working methods, we strive to make our customer’s increasingly digital lives easier with our services. About the role

We are now looking for a Development Manager to join our Operational Excellence function. Operational Excellence supports Consumer Solutions with execution of cross functional projects and process improvement initiatives, with a customer centric approach and lean methodology. In your role as Development Manager, you will lead business initiatives in close cooperation with the business, functions and IT units.

Your main responsibilities include:  

  • Preparing mandate, organization and business cases for the initiatives based on input from stakeholders.  
  • Improving performance and reviewing processes by executing value stream analyses in cooperation with the business units and functions.  
  • Interacting closely with business managers, specialists, developers and other project managers.  
  • Presenting reports and results to stakeholders and project sponsors.  
  • Develop and improve our development framework and tools.  

 

In this role you will report to Director Operational Excellence, Fortum Consumer Solutions. You can be located in one of our offices in Oslo, Stockholm or Espoo.  

 

About you

To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you have:  

  • A mindset of continuous improvement with an “outside the box” thinking when it comes to processes, technologies and the customer journey.  
  • Excellent skills in data analysis skills, basing your decisions on data and facts rather than feeling or experience.  
  • Strong presentation and visualization skills with the ability to create clarity in complex matters.  
  • A dynamic and proactive working style, with a collaborative mindset.  
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or project management.  
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in business development, project and stakeholder management.  
  • Proven track record of running successful projects or process improvement work.  
  • Documented Experience of using various project methodologies (e.g, Lean, Six Sigma and Scrum). 
  • Fluent skills in English.
