Director, Performance Solutions-Do you have passion for developing advanced automation solutions for customers in Energy, Marine & Process industries?

We are now looking for a Director, Performance Solutions to growth globally our Performances Solutions business in Energy, Marine & Process Industries segments. You will manage a dedicated development team to develop forward our solutions portfolio including but not limited to advanced process control, control performance, Information platform and industrial internet related solutions. You will also lead a team of product managers to support our regional sales teams.
You are responsible for developing long term plans and visions for the further growth of Performances Solutions business.
You will liaise with different internal stakeholders in matrix organization (e.g. R&D, Sales, Marketing, Service). The position is based in Tampere and reports to VP, Energy & Process Systems in Automation Systems (AS) Business Line as Performances Solution P&L director. You will be a member of AS Energy & Process Systems (EPS) Management Team.
You should have the ability to work with long-term targets and strategy, and to be a resource for our customers in terms of new ideas, products and services. Strategy planning, leading team, negotiation skills and contract knowledge are a natural part of the job, as well as travelling to meet our customers.
What we are expecting from you
In this role, your success is measured by Performance Solutions P&L result together with technology solution development. To meet these targets, you need solid experience in leading and developing a team.
You will also need:
- Distributed Control System (DCS) knowledge, preferably experience on Valmet DNA
- Advanced Process Control and Info system knowledge
- Control Performance knowledge
- Industrial internet knowledge
- Experience from at least one of the targeted industries: energy, biofuel or power -to-X
- M.Sc. degree in automation and/or Energy/Process technology
- International business experience
- Successful track record of obtaining results in a matrix organization
- Ability to work with long-term targets and strategy, as well as ability to implement annual plans
- Ability to quickly establish credibility, influence others, build and maintain relationships, both internally and externally
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as presentation and facilitation skills
