Are you interested in the world of logistics and do you have a willingness to learn? We are looking for a Dispatch Officer for our site in Porvoo, Kilpilahti.

 

In this role, you will ensure dispatch and customs administration of finished products, raw materials, base resin materials and dangerous goods in compliance with all legal requirements and relevant guidelines.

 

Your key activities are:

  • Responsibility for the dispatch administration of finished goods, samples, raw material and base resin flows 
  • Responsible for customs related administration and documentation
  • Responsible for training of truck drivers, including entrance driver control (incl. drivers' safety gear to the extent possible)
  • Ensure loading booking conformance by transport carriers and controlling of bulk truck cleaning certificates and load securing documentation
  • Ensure safety regulation conformance by transport carrier and record the observed deviations
  • Responsibility for the proper handling of all customs administration and official documentation as well as the correspondence with the relevant authorities
  • Communication to internal and external stakeholders related to Supply Chain

 

About you

 

You are a Logistics professional holding a relevant degree (i.e. bachelor's degree in  logistics oriented education) or you already have a few years of work experience in Logistics/Supply Chain and have the willingness to learn more. You communicate fluently in Finnish and English. You have excellent computer skills. Knowledge of customs administration, SAP ERP system and ADR regulations is considered as a benefit.

The position will be located in Kilpilahti industrial area in Porvoo, around 30 minutes away from Helsinki city by car. Borealis also offers bus transportation for our employees from Helsinki and Porvoo and the surrounding areas.
