.Net Development Lead

(Permanent position)

Turku, Finland / Sollentuna, Sweden

Revvity's Turku site has over 500 employees and is a key location for manufacturing and product development in newborn, maternal-fetal health, and prenatal screening. As a global leader in newborn screening, our solutions have tested over 700 million babies worldwide for life-threatening diseases.

Join an experienced team dedicated to developing SaaS solutions that support newborn screening across a broad spectrum of tests. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing and building software that underpins the product solutions we offer.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor the development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level SaaS solutions using modern .Net technologies.

Ensure the delivery of secure, reliable, and scalable code across multiple product offerings.

Collaborate with business users to define and refine requirements.

Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of quality and performance.

Oversee team workflows and prioritize tasks in an Agile environment using Jira.

Ensure compliance with secure coding principles and industry standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, QA, and product Management.

Essential Skills and Experience:

10+ years of experience in a commercial software development environment with proven leadership capabilities.

Strong expertise in enterprise web application development.

Advanced proficiency in C# .Net Core 6+, PostgreSQL (or equivalent), and API development.

Frontend development experience using HTML5, JavaScript, React (or equivalent), and DevExpress (or equivalent).

Deep understanding of version control systems (Git/GitHub) and Agile methodologies.

Advanced debugging and analytical problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with secure coding practices and standards.

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

Experience with HL7 messaging protocols (e.g., ADT, ORM).

Strong database design and optimization skills.

Familiarity with laboratory system integration (workstations, LIMS, or related systems).

Experience with AWS cloud services and containerization technologies such as Docker and microservices architecture.

Knowledge of regulated software development standards (e.g., ISO 13485, IVD, FDA).
