We are now looking for a Finance Specialist for our client company Remedy Entertainment!

About the role

As a Finance Specialist at Remedy, your main responsibility is to ensure a smooth payroll process, and participate in building Remedy's future success through other financial tasks.
This role offers you an opportunity to start from a focused area around payroll but also to grow in other financial controlling within external and internal finance. You will work directly and independently with other employees but have the support of the larger Finance team behind you.

Work tasks

  • Handle independently monthly payroll of Finland and Sweden
  • Develop and automate systems and processes
  • Execute regulatory payroll reporting and manage payroll auditing
  • Be one of the Finance Friends supporting our departments in their financial topics
  • Develop CSRD reporting in co-operation with Finance Director
  • Enlarge your expertise in other financial controlling

We are looking for

  • You have 2-3 years of experience in finance, preferably part of that in payroll management and operating with payroll systems. Experience in accounting and other external finance is a plus.
  • You are proficient in Excel and other Office tools. Experience in reporting and analyzing platforms is a plus.
  • You have a problem-solving mindset and can comprehend the bigger picture while paying attention to details.
  • You are comfortable with working in an international environment and have excellent skills to communicate in a clear and coherent way in English and Finnish.
  • As a team member, you are dedicated to contributing towards a friendly and inclusive work environment.
  • You have the capability to work independently, being organized and able to document your work, but also as a team member supporting colleagues and asking for help when needed.

Knowledge can be gained through education, experience or self-taught.
