About the Role

As a Financial Specialist with us, you will be for example developing and automating financial systems and processes to support our growth and sustainability initiatives. Convenient location for the role is Oulu, Finland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and automate financial systems and processes.
• Participate in and manage various development projects as a project manager or project team member.
• Handle fixed asset accounting and related processes.
• Support and substitute the finance team in daily operations and monthly closing tasks.

What you’ll bring:

You are an analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, and you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You have strong communication skills and a service-minded attitude and you are comfortable collaborating with teams across different functions.  We believe you should bring the following to the team:

• BSc. in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
• Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience in financial administration, including fixed asset accounting.
• Prior experience in handling financial tasks in an international environment.
• Previous experience and a genuine interest in developing financial processes and systems.
• Good understanding of accounting principles (FAS and IFRS).
• Strong knowledge of financial processes and controls.
• Previous experience in Microsoft Business Central, Nomentia or Rillion is seen as advantage
• Languages: Fluent Finnish and English, both written and spoken.
• A positive attitude, good interpersonal skills, and a self-driven, precise working style.
