We are now seeking a business and customer-oriented
Manager, Global Offering
to Escalator and Infrastructure Offering team.
Global Offering Manager is the business owner responsible for the P&L of assigned offering portfolio. In this role you will own and drive the offering scope and roadmaps based on the needs of the customers in the relevant segments, with a target to gain market share while increasing margins and developing customer satisfaction. Global Offering Manager also represents customers' needs and drives the full chain competitiveness of KONE solutions in the market over the whole lifecycle.
The different aspects of the scope of the role is to understand and collect market and customer needs, plan commercialization, channels and prepare offering for deployment; Work closely with KONE Technology & Innovation (KTI) product management, converting offering needs to product development roadmaps; Drive the successful deployment of new offerings to the Areas and Front Lines, securing the full-chain readiness from sales to installation to maintenance and customer success.
This role will report to the Head of Escalator and Infrastructure Offering.
Responsibilities and Key Activities
Collect market and customer needs, plan commercialization, channels and prepare offering for deployment:

Responsible for the offering strategy for assigned offering portfolio.

Responsible for the P&L of assigned offering portfolio in the relevant segments.

Understand what creates customer value in these segments across the lifecycle, as well as identify the potential in the sub-segments in the market and how to increase the share of customer wallet.

Understand competitor's solutions in own area of responsibility and related markets.
-
Define a clear strategic roadmap for the growth of assigned offering portfolio in relevant segments.
-
Define the winning commercial and go-to-market strategy to sell the solution, with the right argumentation, right roles, and channels towards the customers.

Define, manage, and drive the offering, scope, and roadmap, based on existing as well as future KONE solutions, for customers in relevant segments.

Drive a full chain approach for assigned offering, while ensuring profitable share of market growth.

Ensure desired customer / end user experience for the offering/solution.

Manage business model and pricing, aligning with other Business Line Offering Managers.

Ensure governance and alignment with other Business Units and Areas, including implementation, ramp-up and ramp-down of products and new releases.

Organize support to the KONE Areas and Front Lines in their win plans for the assigned offering.
Collaborate with KONE Technology & Innovation (KTI) Product Management and other stakeholders, convert offering needs to product development roadmaps:

Derive the product and solution development needs and roadmap based on customer segment needs from the markets.

Communicate the agreed and aligned offering and development priorities to KTI counterparts as well as continuously cooperate with KONE Supply Chain.

Ensure governance and alignment with KTI, including implementation, ramp-up and ramp-down of products and new releases.

Communicate with authorities, business and professional associations and other related influencers to influence standards and codes, and to promote KONE solutions.

Define, track, and take corrective action based on the full-chain business results and KPIs.
Drive successful deployment of new offerings to the Areas and Front Lines, and secure the full-chain readiness from sales to installation to maintenance and customer success:

Drive the deployment of the new offerings towards Areas and Front Lines.
-
Drive the readiness of defined Front Lines to sell, install and maintain the solutions which are being deployed.
-
Ensure the proper resourcing, governance, and performance metrics in Front Lines to enable them to drive the deployment locally.

Manage a deployment status dashboard per Front Lines and audit the progress of each.
-
Actively identify risks and opportunities and mitigate their impact.
-
Provide coaching and support to the Front Lines in case of issues.

Escalate and follow-up topics which may require Area or Global management support.

Lead the identification, support, and follow-up with early customer cases ("hyper care period") in order to validate a successful end-to-end roll-out, gather improvement feedback and ensure issue list items get resolved.
Requirements for the role

Suitable university level degree (M.Sc. or B.Sc.)

Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant role

Detailed and deep knowledge of similar escalator products and offerings within own responsibility area

Deep understanding of similar business environment and customers; relevant market and customer experience

Solid knowledge of offering management principles and methodology
-
Good value creation, selling, marketing and customer relationship skills

Understanding of full-chain business related KPIs and success factors

Ability to commercialize and scale the business model and generate value for the business area

Ability to effectively network with multiple stakeholders and areas and units

Proven track of strategic acumen and conceptual thinking

Solid presentation and communication skills

Full professional proficiency in English
The position is located preferably in Espoo, Finland or Kunshan, China KONE locations.
