Are you our new HR Specialist, Talent? We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join our compact Talent team. Our team is responsible for the global talent acquisition process, learning and development portfolio and talent management practices at Orion.

Position description

This role is a combination of practical hands-on tasks and more conceptual work. The job can be tailored to match your strengths and specialized expertise, but it will include these main responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing our internal training offering, and proactively identifying ways to improve the way we approach our learning solutions.
  • Coordinating training events and development programs.
  • Developing our employee engagement survey practices and managing survey projects, making full use of modern technology and best practices.
  • Super user role for our people management platform and learning systems.
  • Contributing to the development of feedback mechanisms at Orion.

You will be part of the People & Culture function and report to the Head of Talent. Your preferred location is our head office in Espoo. The position is permanent and will start as soon as possible.

Description of unit

The People and Culture function is a newly formed entity that supports Orion's business units in reaching their objectives through a well-executed people strategy that attracts and develops talent and culture in line with Orion's strategy. Our task is to create a consistent, inspiring employee experience and support organizational capability development globally.

Requirements

To succeed as our new HR Specialist, you should demonstrate:

  • Previous solid experience with learning and development in an international environment, and subject matter expertise in other areas of HR, too.
  • Keen interest in technology & digital people solutions, and willingness to learn new applications and develop existing ones.
  • Modern approach to training and learning.
  • Advanced project management and communications skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Fluency in Finnish and English.

Most importantly, we are looking for a colleague who is an excellent team player and gets things done with positive energy. Our team is small, and we communicate in an open and direct manner.
