Description of position
We're looking for a skilled and forward-thinking HRIS professional to help drive our growth and transformation toward modern, user-friendly people technology and streamlined people management processes.
As our HRIS Manager, you will be the key player in managing our People Management Tools, overseeing daily operations, system support, maintenance, and ongoing development. Your role will ensure that our systems are optimized to meet the evolving needs of the organization and effectively support our HR processes. You'll work closely with stakeholders to improve functionality and enhance the employee experience, making a meaningful impact on how we work.
Key responsibilities:
- HRIS Support and Development: Lead the support and ongoing development of our HR system, ensuring it remains intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with business requirements.
- System Maintenance: Maintain data integrity, oversee system upgrades and enhancements, and conduct regular system audits to ensure reliable performance.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes through technology and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Data Analytics: Extract and analyze HR data to inform business decisions. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for actionable insights.
- User Training: Deliver effective training to HR system users, keeping them informed on new features and best practices. Continuously update and maintain user guides and documentation.
- Project Management: Oversee the implementation and management of system-related projects. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines and milestones, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external partners, working closely with our IM Service Manager to resolve issues, escalate service tickets, and conduct root cause analyses. Plan for future system improvements in partnership with vendors.
The position is permanent and you will report to the Head of PeopleTech. Your preferred location is our head office in Espoo.
Description of unit
You'll be joining our newly established People & Culture organization, where you'll have the support of a collaborative team, including four HRIS Administrators, a Project Manager, and our Head of PeopleTech. In addition, you'll work closely with a network of experienced HR professionals across various specialties, who are eager to collaborate with you on complex HR-related topics.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have proven experience with modern, cloud-based HR tools (e.g. Oracle HCM, Workday, SuccessFactors) and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including HR process owners, management, payroll, IM, and external partners.
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, IT, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HRIS role, ideally within a global organization
- Solid understanding of HR processes
- Technical expertise in deploying, developing, enhancing, and maintaining people management tools
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and increase system knowledge across all levels of the organization
- Strong project management skills, with experience leading system module implementations
- Fluency in both Finnish and English
