Junior Business Manager, Helsinki, fixed-term

We have a fixed-term position (until 30.11.2025) for a recently graduated talent with a degree in business/food science or another relevant field, located in our HQ, Helsinki. 

In your role as a Junior Business Manager, you will work in designated projects supporting and assisting our Business and Category Managers. The role will also include responsibility for the business development of one brand. Your work will vary from business analysis to hands-on work with different stakeholders within Valio. Be ready to show your potential and shine - the more you deliver, the more interesting responsibilities you will gain.

Your main responsibilities: 

• Supporting category and business managers in designated projects 
• Managing defined package design projects
• Responsibility for developing product portfolio of one brand, leading new product launch projects and renewing the current product portfolio
• Identifying key category trends and providing insights to support business development
• Working closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. sales, marketing, R&D and production), to ensure the smooth progress of projects

Requirements:

• Business-oriented thinking and analytical skills
• Open-minded and creative mindset, courage to bring new ideas to the table
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix organization with different stakeholders
• An academic degree in business, food science or another relevant field 
• Excellent communication, cooperation and language skills: fluent Finnish and English
• Previous working experience in FMCG business or product management would be an advantage
