Lab HW and logistics trainee

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

The R&D Lab Support engineer configures, designs, installs, maintains, and handles R&D laboratory equipment and laboratory networks for the use of delivery teams. Integrates new products and solutions in the services laboratory. Ensures availability of laboratory equipment and maintains physical and environmental standards.
 

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

 

  • Active studies in Eletrical, automation or machining engineering.
  • Responsible for maintaining and integrating lab equipment.
  • Ensures new equipment and peripherals are updated into the inventories.
  • Ensures all the power distribution elements in the lab are live.
  • Ensures availability of lab equipment/network elements can be booked through lab reservation tool.
  • Ensures regular maintenance and configuration of lab power distribution systems.
  • Restores lab equipment in case of any failure.
  • Performs tasks unaided, with a moderate level of guidance and within guidelines and policies.
  • Analyzes factual information and possible solutions, makes unaided judgments, outcomes and recommendations and solves a range of straightforward problems through knowledge and professional experience.
  • Supports the transfer of concepts for professional direction of your own organizational unit into actionable measures.
  • Provides informal guidance and support to new team members with regard to the procedures to follow andthe specific tasks required to perform the job effectively.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills both in English and Finnish

  • Valid Work Safety Card
  • Knowledge of coaxial, ethernet, fiber-optic, DC-cables and related cabling work.
