We are now looking for a Manager, Competence Development and Employee Insights to join our Competence Development team in HR organization and lead the design and implementation of learning and development programs, and employee engagement survey process for EX development.

This position is a temporary replacement until 30 June 2025 due to a parental leave.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing impactful learning and development programs in leadership and professional skills with external and internal partners.
  • Managing the employee engagement survey project in K Group globally together with a project team and external partner, preparing for the survey launch in the Autumn.
  • Creating toolkits and support material that enhance daily leadership and competence development in teams.
  • Collaborating and communicating fluently in Finnish and in English with leaders and professionals in different levels of the organization, various internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Proactively identifying ways to further develop the learning and development support at K Group to strengthen our learning culture and capability development.
  • Staying updated on the latest trends and best practices in L&D and employee listening and utilizing the knowledge proactively in the development.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you..

  • Have a master's degree in relevant fields (E.g. adult education, psychology, business)
  • Have at least 5 years of extensive experience in learning and development, and experience in continuous listening process and tools, preferably in international retail environment.
  • Have strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Have excellent influencing, communication and facilitation skills, both in English and Finnish, and fluent collaborative skills to work effectively with diverse and cross-functional teams.
  • Have a genuine understanding of adult learning principles, and competence development processes in a business setting.
  • Have a creative and innovative mindset, a passion for continuous improvement,
  • Are a team player with hands-on attitude and solution-oriented problem-solver approach to work.

This position is based in Finland, either in Helsinki, in our Kalasatama HQ or in Tampere, in Hatanpää office. We are currently working in a hybrid model in which we work together at the office at least 3 days every week.
