We are seeking a service oriented and experienced Manager, Finance Service Excellence to join Global Financial Operations (GFO) organization. In this role you will play a key role in developing our service management strategy and enhancing user satisfaction and fostering efficient knowledge sharing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance operations and a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality service management to our stakeholders and effective utilization of the ServiceNow platform to enhance operational efficiency.
Valmet Global Financial Operations (GFO) is a center of excellence with 200+ colleagues globally. We own Valmet's operative accounting and invest heavily in process harmonization and software automation. We are ambitious and passionate about developing our processes and team competencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a customer experience strategy that aligns with business goals and enhances user satisfaction.
- Drive the development and maintenance of service desk processes to enhance service quality.
- Coach customer-centric culture within the organization, emphasizing the importance of understanding and meeting customer needs.
- Collaborate closely with IT teams and ServiceNow administrators to improve workflows and processes that align with finance requirements.
- Lead the transformation of service delivery, knowledge sharing, and customer experience within GFO.
- Drive operational excellence and user satisfaction through a holistic approach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage the power of the ServiceNow platform.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in finance related operations and shared service centers.
- Proficiency in concepting the ServiceNow platform.
- Understanding of customer experience principles, knowledge management best practices, and financial processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive process improvements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, metrics, and trends to inform decisions.
- Change management expertise to guide teams through process and technology transitions.
