Mapvision is looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to join our team on-site in Helsinki.

What does Mapvision do?
Have you not heard about Mapvision? If not, don’t worry as we are not that famous YET. But please note, regardless of our name, we have almost nothing to do with maps.
Mapvision’s multi-camera technology digitalizes traditional measuring tasks by utilizing machine vision, 3D CAD technology and photogrammetry. The quality control systems are custom built in our premises from mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components including digital cameras and computer systems. The software used in the systems is developed in-house. Systems assembled in Helsinki are delivered to our automotive industry customers worldwide.
What does a Warehouse Coordinator at Mapvision do?
Warehouse Coordinator works in our premises in Konala. In this role remote work is not possible. As a warehouse coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring our products are sent out at the right time to the right place, you make sure we receive the right amount of ordered goods and you require that all items are in well-organized places in the warehouse.
Our warehouse coordinator will, in close collaboration with the other team members, seek to meet the team target - minimize the time that a component spends in our warehouse or production floor. The target is simple, but it requires a lot of work and good planning.
As an extra task, you may help our assembly and purchasing teams, if you have the capabilities needed for this work.
What kind of person are we looking for?
We require you to have the following background or capabilities:
some basic understanding about production or project delivery work – you may have collected this kind of understanding or capabilities in many ways e.g. by working in a production facility;
basic Finnish language skills as some of our suppliers might not be able to speak English - but you do not have to be native speaker, and your Finnish does not have to be fluent;
fluent English as it is Mapvision’s official language.
It is also a benefit if you:
know something about logistics, e.g. you have worked with freight;
have done inventories;
have worked in a warehouse;
know what is ERP and you have used it in the past – if the ERP you have used has been Microsoft Business Central, even better;
are familiar with the term “supply chain management”.
We do not expect the person we hire to know everything as of the first day of employment, but we want to find a person who has eagerness for learning.
