Operational Procurement Manager

We are currently seeking a OPERATIONAL PROCUREMENT MANAGER for Finland to oversee the procurement process within our Crushing & Screening Business Line.

Overview:
As the Operational Procurement Manager, you will manage daily operational procurement activities to ensure efficient and cost-effective acquisition processes. Your role is critical in maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring that procurement processes are data-driven and aligned with the company and business line strategies. You will leverage system-generated data to make informed procurement decisions and play a key role in the continuous improvement of the supply chain and procurement processes.

As main responsibilities you will:
Procurement Management
- Execute procurement activities aligned with company strategy.
- Define suppliers based on data, sales, and purchasing areas.
- Manage the scope of purchases from various suppliers.
- Monitor and process payments to suppliers.
- Keep ERP information and data updated.
- Prepare purchase and operational analytics.
Process Development
- Create and continuously improve purchase and import processes together with other stakeholders.
Supplier Relations
- Maintain regular contact with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and strong working relationships.
Contract Management
- Negotiate contracts focusing on achieving improvements and cost savings.
Order Processing
- Process internal and external purchase orders and monitor delivery times.
- Keep ERP information updated according to lead times.
Internal Communication
- Collaborate closely with product managers on supplier and quality matters.
- Work closely with the logistics team and other stakeholders.

We are looking for a person with:
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in procurement, operations, and/or supply chain management.
- Experience in the metallurgic, mechanical, automotive, heavy machinery equipment, and/or mining industries is mandatory.
- Experience handling the purchase of spares and wear parts from different locations.
Education
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, economics, logistics or similar field.
Communication Skills
- Fluent in Finnish and English (oral and written); proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel).
- Experience with NetSuite ERP (Oracle) is preferable.
International Experience
-Ability to work in an international environment.
- Experience with overseas markets and suppliers.
Travel
- Ability to travel internationally.
Team Collaboration
- Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
