Job description:

Fortum Consumer Solutions (CoS) is the largest electricity retail business in the Nordics, with approximately 2.2 million customers across different brands in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Poland and Spain. We are now looking for an Operations Manager, Charge & Drive! As Operations Manager, you will lead and contribute to the work related to operational excellence for Fortum Charge & Drive. On the short-term it means coordinating different operational and support units to ensure day-to-day-quality of all operations. On the long term, it means leading strategic initiatives to support the long-term business strategy, including having an overall responsibility across projects and initiatives within Fortum Charge & Drive.

About the role
Your responsibilities:

  • Long-term operational strategy, including customer service, legal and financial setup.
  • Coordinate operational development and improvement initiatives (e.g. invoice layouts, process improvements).
  • Facilitate collaboration across units to increase operational quality.
  • Plan and lead strategic projects.
  • Escalating and managing any operational or compliance risks together with relevant stakeholders.
  • Troubleshooting (fraud, data quality, bugs, customer complaints etc).
  • Business point of contact for customer-facing teams.
  • Collaborate and interact with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, DCO, customer service, external partners. 

This is a Nordic role that can be located in Espoo, Oslo or Stockholm. The role requires frequent (but not excessive) travel within the Nordic region.

About you
To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you have:

  • Solid project management experience & skills.
  • Experience in working with IT teams and basic understanding of large enterprise systems.
  • Ability to prioritize to ensure progress in uncertain landscapes.
  • Strong conceptual capability and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic financial knowledge and understanding.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical mindset.
  • Min. Bachelor’s Degree or similar.
  • Highly autonomous way of working, where prioritizing tasks is important, as well as being able to react fast if needed. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and people skills to secure functional support, direction and execution.
  • Fluent skills in English. One of the Nordic languages will be considered beneficial.
