Parmaco's offices and production sites are in Finland and Sweden. The company employs approximately 250 people across Nordics.
We are now looking for a sharp and motivated
Business Controller
to ensure together with finance department colleagues that the Board of Directors and the management team receive high-class, reliable financial information that supports decision-making. You will analyze and generate versatile information, create ad-hoc reports, and prepare presentation materials for the management. As our Business Controller you are in a central role in group reporting, annual planning, and budgeting. You will also have a key role in development projects concerning financial processes and tools.
You will be responsible for
- Translating strategic goals into measurable key performance indicators.
- Understanding what is happening in the market and proactively act by contributing to updated forecasts.
- Analyzing business processes and reporting them to management.
- Controlling and monitoring business processes, budget, and budgeting.
- Initiating improvement processes in financial and operational management together with internal stakeholders and establishing control and measurement of the implementation.
- Conducting commercial analysis and developing financial scenario analysis.
- Reporting results to management to allow for timely changes to be made and goals to be achieved.
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Reviewing financial reports to ensure that they are correct and complete.
- Evaluating together with the CFO the company's financial results by analyzing reports.
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and risks.
- Forecasting future investment or resource needs.
- Implementing controls to ensure compliance with laws and regulations regarding financial reporting and disclosures.
- Other tasks instructed by the CFO.
To succeed in this role, you need a minimum of 5 years of experience in business controlling, business analysis, or management consulting or auditing role preferably in a listed/ private equity owned company. Your MS Office skills are superb, and you have experience in utilizing business planning and BI tools, such as Power BI. Previous experience with Clausion FPM will be an asset. Relevant master's degree and excellent spoken and written communication skills both in English and Finnish are requirements for this role, Swedish and/ or German are assets. This role is based in Tampere, Finland, and the role requires travelling in Finland, occasionally also abroad.
