Product Manager

The Product Manager role

Product Manager will be responsible for creating and managing the product throughout the whole product life cycle. In this role you will collaborate closely with marketing and sales, energy and software engineers, and other cross-functional team members within the organization to ensure that our products maximize value of our customers and Fotum's business.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create product value proposition, roadmap and release plans

  • Collect customer requirements and analyze market, technology and competitors

  • Set targets for the product profitability and cost structure

  • Define user personas for individual products, write product requirements and coordinate development backlogs together with business stakeholders

  • Manage product life cycle - product creation and maintenance programs. Coordinate program deliverables across teams and multiple stakeholders

  • Collaborate with business partners and IT vendors to meet product development requirements, regulatory (e.g. GDPR) and security requirements

  • Monitor and incorporate industry innovations

 

Personal abilities and skills

  • 5+ years of professional experience in product management

  • Strong communication and project management skills

  • Ability to work cross countries and multiple organizational units

  • Highly motivated, who can work independently as well as with cross-functional teams

  • Prior experience in agile software development

 

Mandate and authority

As a member of the product development and digitalization division, you will define product specifications in alignment with portfolio strategy and ensure successful product releases based on defined priorities. You will also work closely with Fotum's customers, sales teams, and services organization to identify, specify, and prioritize product requirements. Communicate product strategy and functionality.
