Project Manager, Logistic Solutions - Customer Delivery Projects

Are you a skilled project manager with expertise in delivery project management? Would you like to ride with us on the global megatrends of increase in logistic volumes, digitalization, robotics and automation? If your answer is yes, keep reading! Mitsubishi Logisnext Europe Oy is looking for a new colleague to join us as a Project Manager for Logistics Solutions.

Join us in sharing Finnish high-performance technology and know-how with the world!

As a Project Manager, you will work as part of the Logistic Solutions organization, overseeing the successful execution of customer projects all the way from sales agreement to the implementation of the system at the customer facility. The delivery projects consist of comprehensive logistics solutions, including automatic forklifts (AGV's) manufactured in our factory in Järvenpää and/or various other logistics applications and equipment. You will manage project budgets and ensure project deliveries are aligned with contractual agreements. Additionally, you will quote and negotiate change requests with the customers and coordinate tasks and schedules within the project team to meet customer expectations.

Your workdays will be varied-on one day, you might be negotiating technical details with a customer, and on another, you'll act as the point of contact for internal stakeholders and suppliers, resolving any challenges that arise. You'll lead weekly telcos with the customers and document the decisions. Once the project is successfully completed and the customer approves the implementation, customer responsibility will be handed over to the Services.

You will primarily work at our office in Järvenpää, but you will occasionally travel to customer sites for project kick-off meetings, to work on specifications, or to manage implementations. On average, you can expect around 20 travel days per year. Our customers are located around the globe, currently especially the North American business is growing.

The foundation of your work will be close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of projects. Adaptability and a sense of humour will come in handy along the way! Key stakeholders include customers, automation, mechanical and electrical engineering, production, procurement, and various suppliers.

You can start in your new role with us during the winter season or as agreed.

We offer you:

  • Interesting and independent job in an international business environment: You will have the opportunity to work on engaging projects and make a meaningful impact to our customer's operations while being part of a dynamic global team.
  • Hybrid work model and flexible working hours: We understand the importance of work-life balance and provide flexibility in terms of remote work and working hours.
  • Modern tools, ergonomic workspaces, and pleasant working conditions.
  • Employee benefits: We care about your well-being and offer a range of benefits, including high-quality occupational health care, sports and wellness benefits, and exclusive discount codes from our trusted partners.
  • Thriving working community and close-knit team: You'll be joining a supportive and friendly working environment where collaboration and teamwork are encouraged, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Competitive compensation based on your experience.

You are a proactive and self-driven professional with a can-do attitude and have excellent communication and negotiation skills. You are someone who thrives in managing complexity and enjoys working with people. You excel in maintaining control even in challenging situations. You want to understand how our technology works and helps our customers to fulfil their targets.

We expect our Project Manager to have:

  • Fluent English skills, as most of your customer interactions will be conducted in English
  • Experience in project management tools and practices as well as good IT skills.
  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree (in a relevant technical field)
