We are now seeking a QHSE Manager for Metso Aggregates business area to join our Plant management team in Tampere. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper application of quality, health, safety and environmental (QHSE) standards within the Plant organization. You are also acting as an occupational safety manager for the whole Tampere site. 



What you'll do

 

You are responsible for maintaining and developing safety, quality, and environmental systems. As an expert in your field, you support and challenge plant and manufacturing teams to continuously improve safety and quality processes and practices.  

 

Most of the work is related to Tampere Plant operations, but you will also collaborate actively with your colleagues in other Aggregates plants, other Tampere site operations, and corporate teams.



Who you are

 

To be successful in this role, you need a suitable educational background, e.g., an M.Sc. in Engineering. You already have substantial experience developing and/or leading quality and safety operations in a complex environment and have proven results. You are capable of translating development potential to different stakeholders. You have excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.

 

You are self-driven and goal-oriented, with good leadership skills. You have a systematic and continuous improvement mindset and you are also resilient in your work. As you will be working with different stakeholders, both internally and externally, you have excellent communication, social, and change management skills, and you are fluent in Finnish and English.
