We are looking for a R&D Product Owner at Hitachi Energy, Grid Automation business in Vaasa, Finland. In this role, you will be the important link between our Product Management and R&D. You will establish a linking role acting as the key interface to R&D agile development teams.

Your responsibilities
- Analysis of market requirements, specify the product features to be implemented
- Work towards that the market requirement, i.e., How the market requirements are met.
- Establish a holistic and consistency view of the product features
- Involvement to end-to-end development of product features, together with the R&D teams
- Acceptance of test cases, deliverables from the agile team
- Identification of risks for product features

Your background
- You hold Bachelors or Master's in Computer science, Electrical/Electronics or similar fields of engineering.
- Experience in information technology, information security or communication networks
- A self-motivated, structured and results-oriented approach, with good time management skills and a drive to succeed
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
- Self-driven and persistent attitude towards challenges. You work actively and professionally both inde-pendently and as a part of a team.
- Good grasp of different web-based technologies is seen as an advantage
- Expertise of power process application domain will be a benefit
