For our client from banking industry, we are looking for Roll-out Coordinator.
Description:
The role adds value by enabling efficient, scalable, and repeatable release management operations for the vast majority of IT initiatives.
As a Rollout Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that new releases to technology platforms and applications are planned and executed efficiently, with the highest quality for customers and operations, and in compliance with the company’s standards.
You will work with many different stakeholders such as other Release Managers, Test Managers, Product Owners, Execution Leads, Scrum Masters, Operations Teams, etc., to secure a safe and successful delivery.
What you’ll be doing:
• Coordinating the roll-out organization and surrounding teams in preparation for go-live, including securing resources, building the go-live implementation plan, and executing dress rehearsals.
• Supporting with definition of the roll-out strategy, governance model, and milestone plan based on established processes and best practices
• Tracking and maintaining the release and rollout roadmap
• Participating in roll-out go live and post-go-live activities.
• Coordinating change activities throughout the roll-out activities.
• Coordinating business verification activities during rehearsals and go-live.
• Overseeing that production operations teams receive proper transition support as new solutions are rolled out.
• Participating in roll-out decision meetings to secure stakeholder approval for each roll-out milestone.
• Representing the roll-out project team in program meetings and SAFe planning events.
• Increasing release quality and efficiency by integrating new techniques, automation capabilities, and DevOps ways of working to release orchestration.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:
• Bachelors/Master’s degree in IT or related disciplines.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Accountability, proactivity, and ability to quickly adapt and respond to change.
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
• Flexibility: able to work limited evenings and weekends for the implementation of events.
• Knowledge in areas of Programme management and Risk assessment processes
• Experienced in Service Transition Processes and facilitation is a clear benefit
• Understanding of payment processes is a clear benefit
• Experienced in working in large scale enterprise integrated environments
• Practical understanding of Agile, Scrum, SAFe methodologies.
Description of knowledge and experience:
• IT project management and planning skills (5+ years)
• Previous experience from release or deployment management activities (preferably from the banking sector)
• Experience working with incident, problem and change management tools and processes under ITIL framework
• Confident working with Project Management tools. (Jira,Confluence)
• Experience to work with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices
• Experience with working on the edge of IT and business, with solid understanding of business aspects
• Basic understanding of DevOps ways of working
• Have extra-ordinary communication skills and fundamental technical knowledge in order to communicate with the development team(s) and create & validate deployment runbooks in collaboration with the team
• Have the passion to work with industry-leading Release Orchestration tool to create automated release pipelines with the help of technical experts.
Allocation: 100 %
Assignment start date: 2.1.2025
Duration: 31.12.2025
Location: Helsinki, 1-2 day per week onsite
Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken
