We are now searching for SAP Functional Lead , Service Operations take our digital journey to next level. This new role has been created to enable our business to maximize the value from our S/4 HANA transformation programs.

The role is full-time, permanent and located in Turku or Tampere, Finland or Stockholm, Sweden or Dublin, Ireland.

Your Mission as the SAP Functional Lead , Service Operations:

In this role you will collaborate with stakeholders within the business and IT teams to drive solutions that innovates, simplifies, and supports ERP ecosystem within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions. You will be part of a global IT Delivery team with SAP functional leads, experts, architects, and other specialists from several domains.

As our new SAP Functional Lead - Service Operations you will ensure that implementation of all business processes within the IT application area of Service Operations are done according to set requirements, using the possibilities given in the Enterprise Resource planning (ERP) system and SAP S/4Hana.

The role will involve working collaboratively with functional experts and business/technical teams. You will play a critical role in ensuring that the business requirements are fully understood and that solutions meet business expectations.

Main responsibilities in details

• Enable S/4 HANA and Service Operations transformation covering end to end processes, SAP Service Operations/Supply Chain/Order Management and connected systems (eg. Maximo)
• IT Primary point of contact for the Process Owners, Solution Architects and key business stakeholders with responsibility for solution delivery of processes covering Service Operations area
• Ensure S/4 Hana core solution leverages standard best practice solutions as much as possible in order to promote one standard end to end solution.
• Support project detailed design stages to ensure the integrity of the end to end solution is maintained contributing to Fit/Gap analysis to assess the value/ROI of any deviation from SAP standard.
• Develop and enable relevant operational reporting requirements leveraging S/4 Hana capabilities
• Work with other IT Leads and application experts to ensure integrations with other functions and complimentary applications are performing as expected.
• Manage IT demand in the Service Operations space and drive delivery execution with internal and external teams
• Mentor and develop IT team members actively sharing knowledge to develop and broaden our internal expertise
• Business oriented mindset comfortable providing inputs to functional discussions and keen awareness of different perspectives
• Agile methods with a strong appetite for new technologies and innovation looking

Since our stakeholders and employees are located around the world fluency in English is mandatory and willingness to travel is also required.

⭐What can you bring to our team? 

You have a deep functional and configuration understanding of the Service Operations in SAP S/4Hana and wide experience working in a similar role on a large-scale SAP implementation project.

You are proficient in the MS Office suite and are capable of producing high quality documents and outputs.

You set high standards for yourself and have a passion for excellence. You are educated to degree level or equivalent.
