About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing a wide range of substation documentation, from single line diagrams to control panel drawings. From project documentation to testing and commissioning, you'll play a crucial role in driving successful outcomes in international projects.
We're looking for proactive, results-oriented individual with good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. If you thrive under pressure, possess fluent English language skills, and are willing to travel up to 20% both domestically and internationally, we want to hear from you. We are mainly looking for a person to join our client's team to Vaasa, but you can also live in Helsinki or Tampere areas. If your location is one of the latter, we hope that you'll have a bit more experience in substation design.
Knowledge of Fingrid and MS Standards or experience in data center projects are seen as advantages.
Work tasks
- Review and prepare substation documentation, including diagrams and calculations
- Evaluate supplier proposals and oversee installation and commissioning activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project integration and success
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the team
We are looking for
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Previous experience of engineering work related to high and medium voltage systems
- Knowledge of design software and substation systems
- Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and reliability, and willingness to take part in international projects with up to 20% travel
- Fluent in English, Finnish is seen as an advantage
Familiarity with Fingrid and MS Standards are seen as a plus.
