Senior Business Analyst

Etteplan is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in digital development in the logistics, industrial manufacturing or energy sectors to join our collaborative team. As an integral part of our software project teams, you will work with a range of professionals to support the development of solutions for our clients.

Your role

As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to design, develop, and refine digital systems and related business processes. By translating business needs into technical requirements, you'll play a key role in aligning our solutions with client goals. You will bridge business needs with technology, utilizing understanding of industrial or logistics processes.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Working with stakeholders to gather, document and prioritize business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Assisting customer, project, and development teams in delivering digital solutions, ensuring development aligns with business goals.
• Facilitating workshops and sessions with stakeholders to define requirements.
• Mapping and analyzing current processes and systems, identifying gaps, and suggesting improvements based on best practices.
• Conducting data analysis, assessing potential impact and prioritizing business needs.

Our preferred locations for this role include Espoo or Tampere, Finland with opportunities for international collaboration. Some travel may be required from time to time for client projects.

Your profile and ways of working:

We're looking for someone with experience in using technology to solve real-world challenges in logistics, industrial manufacturing or energy sectors.A background as a Product Owner or in a similar role is beneficial.We value candidates with a forward-focused mindset, hands-on approach, and acollaborative way of working.

An ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:

• At least 5 years of experience working as a business analyst in a software development project
• Strong experience in modern agile SW development projects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical and functional information
• Experience in industrial digitalization, preferably logistics, manufacturing or energy sector, with an understanding of related digital systems.
• Fluency in both Finnish and English is essential.

Additionally, the following are seen as beneficial:

• Relevant education with process optimization or product ownership experience working in the software development.
• Knowledge indeveloping AI systemsto enhance optimization, automation, or analytics is seen as a strong benefit.
• Experience working in international environments.
• Ability tobridge technical and non-technical stakeholderswith strong communication and presentation skills.
