We are seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager to support Metso's delivery project team in starting and commissioning the plant projects globally. You will be given an exciting opportunity to work in an international setup and a central role with Metso's projects, covering the responsibility of commissioning management.

 

You will be based in Espoo, Finland. However, you may be expected to travel during the project's commissioning phases and for more extended periods.

 

Commissioning is an important part of executing and implementing Metso's plant deliveries. In the Metso Espoo office, we design and deliver modern hydrometallurgical and mineral processing plants to customers worldwide. The Commissioning Management Team supports the project delivery team during the execution and ramp-up phase. It ensures our deliveries are installed and functioning according to the contractual obligations and the Customer's satisfaction. It also ensures the most optimized solutions about quality, cost, and resources and, overall, the successful delivery of the project. 



What you'll do

 

  • Deliver projects' Commissioning Management as per contractual obligation in quality, time, and budget Generate PCM Status Documentation
  • Maintain commissioning turn-over document database
  • Perform & manage client-oriented commissioning solution acc. to implementation plan in collaboration with Client and involved parties
  • Identify & coordinate resources to implement commissioning with various internal stakeholders
  • Lead an interdisciplinary Commissioning Management team of high-profile experts on-site
  • Ensure commissioning implementation in compliance with Outotec Global processes, tools and systems, policies and standards
  • Generate monthly projects' Commissioning Management status reporting and project follow-up of commissioning implementation

 

Who you are

 

  • Strong experience in plant commissioning and a leading role, especially for Minerals and Hydrometallurgical plants 
  • Suitable education, e.g., Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical Engineering. 
  • Capability to work with others in a matrix from various cultures within a diverse political, economic, technical, and social environment.
  • Willingness to work abroad on long-term assignments (up to 1,5 years) Extended technology & process knowledge & service understanding
  • Commissioning & Project execution skills
  • Fluent spoken and written communication skills in English 
  • Standing to deal with high-profile client representatives & experts
