Senior IT Analyst for Listed Derivatives

For our client we are looking for a Senior IT Analyst for Listed Derivatives.

Description:
Working with a team of experienced business- and Technology people, new Senior IT Analyst will join a project with the purpose of implementing a strategic solution for clearing and settlement of Listed Derivatives within the company Markets & Traded Products service area.
The project aims to implement new business processes, a new vendor application, a new integration architecture towards up-stream (Front Office) and down-stream (Middle Office etc.) systems and to migrate business flows from existing legacy application architecture.

In this project, the Senior IT Analyst will be responsible for:
- Analyzing and documenting functional- and non-functional requirements and aligning these with relevant stakeholders across the value chain.
- Detailed data analysis and mapping to new target formats based on Kafka.
- Acting as a bridge between business analysts/SMEs and IT Developers with responsibility for preparing business- and data requirements for the developers

The Senior IT Analyst must have:
- Proven analytical skills and ability to understand business domain as well as IT implementation
- Excellent data analytical skills and understanding of data modelling
- SQL skills (Oracle)
- A proactive and self-driven mindset
- Excellent spoken and written English

Furthermore it will be seen as an extra advantage if the Senior IT Analyst has:
- Experience from financial institutions, and especially on post-trade side
- Knowledge about listed derivatives (i.e. exchange traded futures and options)
- Experience with Kafka and FpML
- Experience working in an international environment with colleagues across several locations

Allocation: 100 %
Assignment start date: 2.1.2025
Duration: 31.12.2025 (12 months)
Location: Helsinki
Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken
