Site Supervisor

Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Site Supervisor to lead and coordinate onsite project activities, ensuring all project phases progress smoothly and efficiently. Reporting directly to the Director of Technical Refit, the Site Supervisor will be responsible for guiding the onsite project team, assigning tasks effectively, and ensuring seamless communication and coordination across teams. Maybe you're currently working as a team leader in land-based electrical installations and looking to explore a new industry in the marine sector. While shipbuilding experience is advantageous, we are primarily looking for someone with the right mindset and approach.
Travel to onsite locations, including drydocks and in service works, will be required.

Key Responsibilities:
Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment, promoting collaboration, recognizing excellent performance, and addressing issues constructively.
Collaborate closely with the Director of Technical Refit, providing regular updates on project progress, issues, and milestones while aligning project goals with company standards.
Act as the primary contact for all onsite activities, ensuring effective communication, quality standards, and adherence to health and safety protocols.
Lead and motivate the onsite project team, assigning tasks, adjusting schedules as needed, and supporting team productivity and accountability.
Oversee onsite logistics, including materials planning, coordinating deliveries, and resolving any material-related issues, while addressing challenges or delays with the Director as they arise.
Support in evaluating additional work requirements, potential impacts on timelines, and participate in inspections, ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Qualifications:
Degree in a relevant field or equivalent management experience.
Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record in onsite team coordination.
Experience leading teams in land-based electrical installations, with a desire to branch into marine projects. While shipbuilding experience is beneficial, we value the right mindset and adaptability above all.
Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Familiarity with budget management, reporting processes, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project management software.
Ability to make independent decisions when necessary, balancing autonomy with strong teamwork.
