Software Developer for Automated Guided Vehicle System Development

We are looking for two new colleagues for Mitsubishi Logisnext Europe Oy to one focused on Frontend and one on Backend development, to drive the evolution of our fleet control software and support systems for automated guided vehicles.

As a Software Developer in both roles, you will work with skilled development team and teams do fleet control software and supporting products for automated guided vehicles, with the opportunity to specialize in either Backend or Frontend development. You'll join a collaborative, innovative team that values best practices and technical excellence, while working on solutions that help shape the future of logistics technology.
Frontend Developer
In Frontend development, you will join a skilled development team focused on engineering tools and user experience design for our fleet control software. This role involves designing and enhancing user interfaces for our FleetController product family in accordance with our general architecture. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to build scalable, user-friendly interfaces and contribute to an efficient and cohesive component system across our applications.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain frontend interfaces for multiple applications within a monorepo setup.
- Build reusable components with a stateless-first approach, aligned with UI/UX best practices to ensure consistency across our product suite.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features that improve both end-user experience and internal tools.
Our Tech Stack:
- TypeScript, Vue, Pinia, Vuetify, Storybook, Vitest, and Testing Library for component-based development and interface management.
- Turbo Repo for efficient monorepo management.
- Jenkins CI pipelines to automate testing and deployments.
What We Expect from You:
- 3-5 years of experience in frontend development, with proficiency in TypeScript and a solid understanding of component-based development.
- Strong skills in reactive JavaScript frameworks such as Vue or React.
- Familiarity with .NET languages and knowledge of Jenkins CI/CD pipelines are beneficial for seamless collaboration and deployment.
Backend Developer
In Backend development, you will join a dedicated team focused on enhancing the core functionality and reliability of our fleet control software for automated guided vehicles. This role involves developing and optimizing server-side software that ensures seamless backend communication and supports high-performance operations for our systems.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain server-side software, from core algorithms to backend integrations with frontend applications and automated systems.
- Write reliable, maintainable code to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design new features and implement key updates.
Our Tech Stack:
- C#, .NET Framework, and design patterns to maintain high code quality.
- RabbitMQ for message-broker communication
- Jenkins CI pipelines for testing and deployment.
What We Expect from You:
- 3-5 years of experience in backend development, with proficiency in C# and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with software design patterns to ensure maintainability.
- Additional skills that are beneficial include F# or other functional programming languages, RabbitMQ for backend communication, and experience with frontend JavaScript applications.
In both roles you will work in an independent expert role in collaboration with various stakeholders. In Frontend tasks, key stakeholders include users of the developed tools and UX designers. In Backend tasks, important stakeholders include experienced developers of your own team and the engineers designing the end-user applications. For both roles, you should have previous experience in agile development.
In your new role, you can start according to agreement during the autumn or winter.

We expect you to have on both roles proficiency in English, as you will communicate in English as part of an international organization and team. Previous experience in similar roles and a higher education degree (e.g., Master's in Automation Technology or other technical degree) will provide a good foundation for success in this role.
It will be advantageous if you have proficiency in Finnish and a background in application development, as well as familiarity with various technologies and agile working practices.
