About the role
You will be working within a team of GIS experts In the Asset and Locations IT domain. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining companywide shared solutions related to Asset Management and GIS, your role focusing on GIS.
Your focus area as Specialist, GIS will be in our ArcGIS technology-based platform and solutions. In your role you will be responsible for planning and implementing various GIS based business analytics and solutions together with our Solution Architect and other GIS specialists and help business users with other GIS related issues.
About you
As a person you are curious, self-driven, forward looking and motivated by change and new challenges. You enjoy working with other people. You have structured, solution-oriented and analytical mindset which drives your daily work.
You have comparable full-time work experience of a couple of years working with GIS based analytics and solution implementations with ArcGIS technology. Also, you communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written.
To succeed in this role, we think you have:
- A domain understanding of GIS and spatial data, IT operations or the energy sector.
- Good knowledge in using ArcGIS technology: ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise Portal and ArcGIS Online
- Strong skills in data processing and expertized GIS analytics, both raster and vector
- Understanding of 3D and Point cloud modelling
- Basic understanding of ArcGIS Enterprise architecture and ArcGIS API knowledge
- Experience of implementation and maintenance of ArcGIS Web Maps, Web Applications and Story Maps
- Understanding of business processes and ability to document them
- Communication and collaboration skills with businesses and internal IT stakeholders as well as with different expert teams
Considered as your benefit:
- Basic understanding of agile way of working, TOGAF framework and/or Python scripting
The job can be located either in Espoo, Finland or Stockholm, Sweden.
