For the summer of 2025, we are looking for trainees to strengthen our teams, both in technical / engineering and supportive / administrative tasks. We wish you to be a student within a suitable field for the specific task and have good communication skills in Finnish and English.
SUMMER JOB POSITIONS 2025
Technical / Engineering tasks:
- Electrical / Mechanical / Automation Engineering trainees
- Join our Technology teams in either Vaasa, Lappeenranta, or Helsinki to work with our game-changing green technologies.
- Depending on your field of studies, you can participate in designing and testing megawatt-class frequency converters and electric machines. Some knowledge of power electronics or rotating electrical machines as well as of 3D tools will help you succeed in the task.
- Experience in ECAD, Ansys Workbench, strength analysis, electromagnetic or cooling design, PLC programming or mechanical assembly work are seen as assets.
- Test Engineer trainees
- Join our Operations team in the Vaasa factory.
- Some knowledge of electrical machines, and mechanical assembly or testing will help you succeed in the task.
- The task can be tailored according to your previous experience and preferences but includes preparing and creating test reports, developing work instructions and test forms as well as participating in daily management and in the development of our new power electronics test site.
- Customer Service trainees
- Join our Customer service team in Vaasa to work with providing our customers support in their technical cases.
- The task can be tailored according to your previous experience and preferences but includes handling technical customer fault and support cases as well as processing spare part and service orders.
- Previous knowledge of frequency converters, power electronics or mechanical assembly work are seen as assets.
Supportive / Administrative tasks:
- Purchasing trainees
- Join our Purchasing team in either Lappeenranta or Vaasa.
- The task can be tailored according to your previous experience and preferences but includes order backlog and invoice handling, indirect purchasing and sending requests for quotations.
- Technical knowledge (materials, manufacturing methods, drawings) are seen as assets but are in no way obligatory.
- Accounting trainees
- Join our Finance team in either Vaasa or Lappeenranta.
- The task can be tailored according to your previous experience and preferences but includes processing of purchase invoices and other accounting tasks.
- HR trainees
- Join our HR team in either Vaasa or Lappeenranta.
- The task can be tailored according to your previous experience and preferences but includes on a wide variety of personnel related tasks such as payroll, recruitment, internal communication, processes, records, and reports – and, of course, our people.

The salary for each trainee ranges between 2 000 € and 2 800 €/month + benefits and is set based on your education level and possible previous experience. Before the end of the summer, we offer the opportunity to discuss a possible continuation with us, for example alongside your studies. Please note, all applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
